The reason for the recall is that the version labelled SEP C 2P-690-LED will show an Earth Leakage Fault where this equipment if fitted.

The replacement version is Labelled Part No. 24014

The Green LED in the recalled version is connected from Live to Earth and consequently a small current flows to earth; this current causes the earth leakage detection equipment to register a fault. The device is operating correctly if the Green LED is lit and it will protect against surges. The replacement version corrects this issue by connecting the LED from Live to Neutral and hence no fault current flows.

Return Faulty Units to Central Stores, who will issue replacement units.
